Zane Jacobs

Zane Jacobs, a loving son, brother, and friend left us on June 10, 2021, after battling an illness that he fought with all he had for many years, until he couldn’t fight it any longer. God now has set him free. Zane was born on May 26, 1971 in Casper.

Zane loved his family and friends and his dogs who were his constant companions. He loved his freedom in the open outdoors, skateboarding when he was young to snowboarding and camping and his most recent endeavor kayaking alone with his dog or friends and brothers.

Zane is survived by his parents, Jake and Kathi Jacobs, and  Charlie and Linda Peak. Sisters Melissa Bachilla, Molly Peak, and Sarah Stacy. Brothers Paul Jacobs, Casey Peak, stepbrothers Ryan, Spencer, and Eric, his beloved girlfriend Lisa, many amazing  Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends from California to Montana to his wonderful Wyoming. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother Donna Niedermeyer Marvel, and Grandfather Larry Niedermeyer, and Wilber Marvel, his Uncle David Niedermeyer and Uncle Pat Peak.

He always had a smile ready for all and a helping hand if needed. He was taken from all who loved him and there will be a special place in our hearts that will always be filled with our love for him.

He is free now to soar with the angels and eagles.

Visitation will be held from 2-4PM on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be he held from 12-4PM on Tuesday at the Tate Pump House by the River in Casper.
