Wyoma Jewel Eckhart

God called Wyoma Jewel "Judy" Eckhart (Story) home on August 23, 2022. Wyoma was born in Casper, Wyoming, on August 28, 1939 to Dewey Leon Story and Treva Dicey Sharer. Wyoma graduated from Natrona County High School in 1957. 

 

She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Wayne Eckhart on January 24, 1958. Wyoma and Robert made their home in Casper where they raised their three children. Wyoma worked for many years at Keefe’s Flowers in Casper where she used her artistic gift as a florist. She loved to sew, gamble, go camping and spend time with her large family.

 

Wyoma is survived by her daughter, Cindy Hawes (Scott), son Jeff Eckhart (Staci), granddaughters Kristi Rae, Addy Dobson (Daniel) and Nicole Eckhart, grandsons Kody Hawes and Isaiah Teres Eckhart, great-granddaughter Faith Mower, sisters Jean Weber, Shirley Carsten and Fonda Wyatt along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who she dearly loved.

 

Wyoma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Steve Eckhart, grandson Joshua Eckhart, brothers Don Story, Lester Story, Jack Story, sisters Norma Weber and Wanda Lovelace.

 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 4600 South Poplar Street in Casper, Wyoming.
