Willie Thomas

Willie G. E. Thomas, 89, passed away on December 1, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming. He was born on June 25, 1929 in Ringling, Oklahoma. Willie served in the United States Navy. He worked as a Foreman of Glendo Power Plant for the Bureau of Reclamation in Glendo, Wyoming. On October 9, 1950 he married Margie May in Healdton, Oklahoma. He was a member of the American Legion post 15 of Glendo and a member of the United States Team Roping Association. Willie enjoyed Steer roping, golfing, hunting and fishing. Willie is survived by his son, Michael G.E. (Kathy) Thomas of Daphne, AL; grandsons, Willie Thomas II of Poway, CA; Buck Guidry of The Colony, Texas; granddaughter, Tania Clarke of Saint Johns, FL; sister, Betty Byram of Shreveport, LA and son-in-law, Greg Guidry of Zwelle, LA. Willie is also survived by 7 great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Bertie Thomas; wife, Margie M. Thomas of Glendo, Wyoming; daughter, Bobbie Lou Guidry of Severn, MD; and friend, Patricia Bergdahl-Watson of Glendo, WY. Immediate family service will be held at a later date.
