William C. (Bill) Unangst 81, passed away August 25, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 21, 1938 in Bartlett, Nebraska. Bill moved to Casper as a child and graduated in 1956 from NCHS. Bill was employed by Pacific Power before joining the Air Force. He also worked for Texaco Refinery and Teton Homes until his retirement. Bill had a passion for helping others, was a cub scout leader, he enjoyed long walks with his dogs, telling stories and having long conversations. Bill is survived by his sons Billy (Doreen) and Charlie (Karen), his sisters Maxine, Betty, Georgia and brother Bob, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren & one due soon, also numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, two brothers & a granddaughter. Military honors will be Friday September 6th at 11:00 at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. The celebration of life will begin at 12:30 at First United Methodist Church, 332 East 2nd Street. A Potluck luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Central Wyoming Hospice or Casper Humane Society in Bill's name.
