William "Bill" Leonard Swafford, age 77, passed away at his home in Casper, Wyoming, on October 9, 2018. He was born in Lamar, Colorado, on April 7, 1941, to William "Son" Leonard and Loretta (Brunton) Swafford. He was a graduate of Holly High School. On July 3, 1959, he married Katherine Tonozzi in Holly, Colorado, and they later divorced. Bill began his career in the lumber business in Holly at the Foster Lumber Company. He worked as a lumber yard manager in Colorado, Nebraska, and Texas, eventually ending his career as a district manager in Casper, Wyoming, where he retired. He is survived by two daughters, Deanna Alexander (Daniel) of Fort Collins, CO, and Jonna Swafford of Casper, WY, and one son, William Wayne Swafford of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Dillon and Kelsey Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents and Eugene Schlager, his step-father. A private burial will take place at the family plot in the Holly Cemetery in Colorado.
