Billy Michael Reimer was born February 20, 1950 in Casper, Wyoming. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Reimer and mother, Margaret Kipp-Reimer. He is survived by his uncle, Carl (Martha) Reimer, Loyd Reimer, Eugene (Vivian) Kipp and Mike Kipp; aunts, Stella Goertz, Nina Bannister, Sandy Kipp Johnston, Toby Kipp Petera and Earlene (Chuck) Kipp Manning. Bill graduated from NCHS in 1968 then attended Sheridan Community College and Black Hills State in South Dakota directly after. He loved college life, joining a fraternity, managing for an athletic program and even playing for a small band, with a future star in Chris Ledoux. After college Billy moved back to Casper to reunite with his parents where he began his next and final job at El Marko-O Lanes. Bill began working at El Mark-O lanes in the 1970's and worked there until he retired in 2009. He is also survived by his non-biological family the Galloway's, all those who have worked with him over the years and his many wonderful friends he made along the way. Bill was especially fond of his dear friend Rose Stinson who watched after him until the end. Casper has truly lost a sports fixture and icon. Billy was beyond an avid sports enthusiast, he simply didn't miss anything. Billy was a long time Thunderbird Booster and attended every home game for the Casper College Men's Basketball team, the women's basketball team and the women's volleyball team for over 30 years. He attended every Oil Bowl, "Peach' Basket, state basketball tourney (1a-4a boys and girls), state wrestling tourney and all Casper Oiler's games. He had season tickets from day one of our minor league baseball team and truly never missed one game. Not one. Bill was also a coach for our Babe Ruth Baseball and Casper Little League programs for over two decades. There he was able to share his vast sports knowledge and incredible humor with our future athletes. He could even be found watching local softball games in the summer time. Billy was local sports. There was only one sport Billy participated in and that was bowling. He bowled for over 40 years and to his last day was a staple at El Mark-O Lanes. All those who knew him enjoyed his incredible sense of humor, kindness, stubbornness, and positive attitude. He will be missed. He will be remembered. Services for Billy will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Bustard's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Casper Humane Society.
