America has lost yet another admirable soldier. Early in the morning on April 2, 2015, William F. Moore, born May 18, 1931, passed away after a fairly short battle with cancer. A child of the depression, Bill worked a full-time job and helped maintain a homestead very early in life. Joining the US Army in 1955, he was a rifleman in the 40th Infantry, serving a tour of duty in Korea where he was on the front lines of war shedding blood for American freedom. After 9 years of active duty he retired to soon enlist in the National Guard and be closer to his family. This man worked hard to provide for his family which started with a wife and 4 children, quickly growing into 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A real life hero in every sense of the word. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bev Harshfield, and his second wife of 48 loving years, Leanne Moore. He is survived by his four children Kenney, Tracy, Candy and Kim. We are proud to call him Dad, uncle and grandpa. May he rest in peace. Services for Mr. William F. "Bill" Moore will be held Wednesday April, 8 2015 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Military honors will be accorded by the Natrona County United Veterans Council and the Wyoming Army National Guard. Interment will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
