On the evening of September 30, 2015, Bill passed away in Casper, Wyoming as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Bill was 55 years young. Bill was born in Casper on September 3, 1960. He had a soft spot for single moms, being raised with his siblings and his hard working mother, Barbara Ann Payne Millay. Casper has always been Bill's home. He grew up in the Fort Casper neighborhood and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1978. As a kid Bill was a great athlete and good friend. Although, many might remember him as the ‘neighborhood terror.' As Bill matured he went from terror, to neighborhood guardian. Keeping a watchful eye on the neighbors in need. This continued throughout his life. After graduating Bill went to work in the grocery, construction and oilfield businesses. Ultimately starting his own business, Alpha Omega Sandblasting and Painting, in 2004. Through his many travels and adventures, he was always ‘Livin The Dream,' and making friends along the way. He befriended the unfortunate and judged along with many colorful characters. Bill was always willing to lend a helping hand or his last dollar. Seeing the good in every person, he never met a stranger or child he couldn't make smile. From Santa suits to crazy sunglasses and goofy shorts; his trademark long hair and beard; his bear hugs and contagious smile, Bill, will long be remembered as ‘The Gentle Giant.' As an avid outdoorsman and mighty shark slayer, Mako Bill led a simple happy life. He had a passion for choppers, dogs, and big fish. But most of all Bill was extremely devoted to his family. The highlight of his Sunday's was church and family dinner. Bill liked to brag about his treasured time spent with his nephews, Taylor and Jordan, as well as his sister Cindy and brother Rich. His mother precedes Bill in death. He is survived by his sisters Cindy MIllay (Bill Stevens) of Casper, Kay Malapanis (Tom) of Palmer, Alaska, and Teresa Baker (Bob) of Soldotna, Alaska , brother Rich (Melissa Erdahl), nephews Taylor and Jordan Millay, niece Emily Erdahl of Casper, cousin Val Moses of Denver, his ‘boys' Butchy and Monster, and numerous other family and friends. The family would ask that you please come dressed as yourself, as Bill would have it no other way. ‘Hook Em Up' and Live The Dream
