William Jones

August 11, 1952 — March 9, 2017

William Thomas Jones II ('Jake', as he was commonly known.) Born on August 11th 1952 in Evansville, Indiana-God called him home on March 7th 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. He was 64 years old. Always adventurous; he enjoyed surfing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, flying his gyrocopter, rock climbing, and most recently, sailing. He loved it all and was very health-conscious, working out every day. He could fix anything, he could build anything, he could do anything. He loved all things technology based and was a computer genius. He loved his country, seclusion, laughter, was a fantastic cook and his house was always spotless. He made friends in every place he went. He was friendly, humble, hilarious, loving and as tough as nails. He posessed an incredible inner strength. His Dad gave him the nickname Catfish Lee when he was a boy because he loved fishing and liked the name Lee. He used that nickname, even until the very end of his life. He was a Christian man and loved his God fiercely. He never walked away from a responsibility, big or small. He was loyal, loved animals and worked hard his whole life. His word was his bond, he was proud and trustworthy. He is preceded in death by his parents (Ancel and Rita Jones) and his son (Billy Lee Jones), his best friend Paul and his dog Scooter Henry. He is survived by his daughter Athena Myers (Luke), his son Jacob Jones (Moriah), his grandchildren (Brian, Ben, Anastasia, Dagon, Kaiden, Keoni, Kage and Liam), his great grandchildren (Brian Jr., Julian and Gissel), his sisters (Brenda, Linda and Rita), his girlfriend (Kristi), and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is deeply loved and will be missed by all. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Black Gold Grille at 1:00 PM. Military Honors will take place 2 pm.
