William Joseph Hytrek, known as Bill to many, died Thursday, September 5, 2013 surrounded by family at the St. Marks hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 72 years old. Born March 4, 1941 in Wheatland, Wyoming to Lawrence Hytrek and Alice Bollin. William served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to1964 as an electrician aboard the USS Bryce Canyon. While stationed in California, he met Nona Renee Patten whom he later married on February 12, 1966 in Torrance, California. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting throughout his life and spending time with family and friends. Survived by children: Joy D Hytrek married to Trent J Bell, Michael D Hytrek married to Karen M Brannon, and Christina G Hytrek married to Austin M Kennedy; grandchildren: Nicholas D Hytrek, Kiana J Hytrek, Kellie Z Hytrek, Braiden A Bell, Bailey L Bell, Nathan M Kintner, and Alexandria M Kintner; brother Robert Hytrek and sister Carol Henke. He leaves behind many other family members and friends that loved William very much. Predeceased by father Lawrence Hytrek, mother Alice Bollin, and his beloved wife Renee. Services will be held at 10am on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Glendo, Wyoming at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish located at 423 A Street, Glendo, WY 82213. Graveside will follow at Horseshoe Cemetery in Glendo.
