William Adrain (Bill) Glasco passed away quietly at Central Wyoming Hospice with his beautiful black cat Shadow laying peacefully on his bed from a three-year battle with Stage IV colon cancer and related health issues. He was 54. He was born in Evanston WY and lived in several towns in Illinois among other places while his dad, a journeyman electrician, made his living. His family came to Casper when he was 11. He was a mechanic who loved working on cars, loved following the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, and loved watching all the how-to car shows on TV. He met his girlfriend Anne 25 years ago and liked to tell everyone she turned his life around. He fell in love with Corvettes while in his teens and realized his dream of owning one in 2014 shortly after he was diagnosed with cancer. They joined the Central Wyoming Corvettes Car Club and went on the Corvette caravan to Bowling Green KY to participate in the National Corvette Museum's 20th anniversary for their first trip. They enjoyed traveling and cruising and he was able to travel to places he never thought he'd see. Most recently they had returned from a 10-day Caribbean cruise with her mom as they celebrated her retirement. He loved showing off his car to anybody and travelling to car shows. He is survived by girlfriend Anne Stanley and her family, his cat Shadow and numerous Corvette and car enthusiast friends. He was proceeded in death by his father William G Glasco and his mother Joann J (Melton) Glasco Garris. Anne knows he is driving his dream Corvette through the stars on the highways in Heaven where there are no speed limits. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Highland Park Community Church. In Bill's honor, if you have a corvette, muscle car or other collectible hot rod, please drive it. And please wear your car shirts/jackets. Please send donations in his name to Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions, 319 South Wilson, Casper, Wyoming. Bustard's Funeral Home is assisting the family.
