On Tuesday, May 7th, 2019, William "Bill" Jon Clark, loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa and friends, passed away in the arms of his wife, at age 72. Bill will be most remembered for his infectious smile, strong wit, kind heart, love of Jesus and belief in angels. Bill was born on February 10th, 1947 in Cut Bank, MT to Albert and Ethel Clark. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1966 to 1972 and served in Vietnam - TET Offensive. Bill drove truck for Getter Trucking, owned Clark Crane Service, worked for High Country Crane. He then worked for 17 years at Wyoming Machinery as the heavy hauler. Bill played as hard as he worked, and played even harder after retirement. He and Pat share a passion for fishing, waterskiing, dancing and razor riding. Since retiring, they've enjoyed time in Glacier National Park, Alaska, Rochester- Mayo, Maine and Arizona. They visited their daughters' families in Oklahoma and D.C.. If he was in Casper, he was in his shop, BBQing with his buddies, or fishing at Pathfinder. He also loved his church family at GSLC, the church he helped build in 1981. He set the roof, Shepard and Cross with his crane when the church was built. Bill and Dianna Johnson were married in 1968 and had Nathan Jon and Becci Mae. Following Dianna's passing, Bill and Patricia Louise Sammons were married in 1974. Bill adopted Tamara Louise and they became a family of five. Bill and Pat were married for 44 years. He is also survived by his brother James (Myrna), sisters Betty Jo (John) and Judy (Dan), 10 grandchildren, two great grandsons, 15 nieces and nephews and tons of great nieces & nephews. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Monday, May 13th, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 51 Primrose (across from Paradise Valley Golf Course), at 11 :00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jason's Friends of Casper, WY. BBQ will follow at the Clark home.
