William Bradford Bochmann, 87 lifetime resident of Casper, passed away peacefully at Life Care Center of Casper on June 12, 2018. Brad as he was known by all was born March 7, 1931 to William H and Margaret Bochmann in Casper Wyoming. He was the eldest of 8 children. Brad was raised in Casper and attended NCHS. On June 2 1948 at the age of 17 he enlisted in the USMC. On May 21, 1951 he was promoted to Sargent. During his time in the marines he saw active combat at the Battle of Chosin Reservoir in Korea. He was honorably discharged June 1, 1952. Upon returning to Casper in 1952 he went to work for the Mobil Refinery. Not long after he met and married Maxine Shipman. During this union their son Randy was born. His father in law was in the real estate business and got Brad interested. He studied for and received his realtor license. He worked for several realtors before opening his own reality company Bochmann Reality. This was his life long profession as he was still managing properties at his passing. Brad and Maxine later divorced. In 1985 Brad meet Judith Anne McKnight. They married May 30th 1986; they had just celebrated their 32 anniversary. Brad had a passion for sports. He was an avid New York Yankees, Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan. You never wanted to say anything bad about any of his teams, as those would be fighting words. He was also involved in local baseball as he umpired youth baseball in the Casper for many many years. Brad was a lifetime member of the Elks. After returning from the USMC his Father got him involved in the Elks and was the one who initiated him. Brad worked his way through the Elks holding several offces including Exalted Ruler, State President and he served on the national PR committee. Brad's brother Glenn said if you ever knew Brad a simple handshake wasn't good enough he had to give you a giant bear hug. Brad was always happy to see you and to make new acquaintances. Brad was also an animal lover and was always rescuing animals from the Human Society. He leaves behind his beloved pets Pepper, Brandy, Bandit, Teddy, Marmalade and Miss Kitty. He is survived by his wife Judith Anne of Casper, Son Randy of Story, Stepson Fritz and Carrie Halstead of Colorado, Stepdaughter Kelley and Dan Hittle of Casper stepson Robin and Maritza Halstead of California, Stepson Michael McKnight of Casper, 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren with another arriving in November. He is proceeded in Death by his parents William and Margaret and three brothers Carl, Allen and Jeff. Memorial services will be held at the Oregon Trail Veterans Chapel in Evansville Wyoming on June 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
