Wayne Lesher passed away on September 27, 2018 at Life Care in Casper. He was born to Walter and Gertrude Lesher August 8, 1933 in Omaha Nebraska. His early years were spent in Nebraska before his family moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1945. He completed elementary school and graduated from N.C.H.S. in 1952. Wayne and Charlene Pleyer were married, and they had a daughter Dianna and a son Lloyd. They later divorced. Wayne and Marylee Smith were married in Casper. They had one daughter Christina. Though divorced they remained close until his passing. Wayne was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. Wayne worked for the Wyoming Highway Department, in California as a logger, mined uranium in Nevada, and was a tool pusher and truck driver at ICO for the majority of his employed life. Wayne is survived by his children and their spouses; Dianna and Dan Murnion, Lloyd and Joni Lesher, and Christina and Dave Pelton. He is also survived by his brother and sister in law, Bud and Barbara Lesher of Mills, sister in law Kathy Lesher of Noble Oklahoma, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and Marylee Lesher. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Bustard's Funeral Home in Casper.
