Walter L. Grimsinger known to most as Walt, was born on February 18, 1943 in Houston Texas, to Walter L. Grimsinger and Willow Mae Dailey. He was blessed in life with the love of two sisters Willow Mae and Thelma Louis. The Grimsinger family resided in Cleveland, Texas for the majority of his early years. It is with great sadness and a tremendous sense of loss that we announce that our beloved father and dear friend has passed away of natural causes on May 11, 2015. Walt moved to Wyoming in 1966 where he and then met and married Judith Ann DeBruyn. With this marriage he was blessed with the gift of two loving sons David L. Grimsinger of San Diego, CA and Kevin L. Grimsinger of Denver, CO. Walt's never ending support and love for his sons will forever be cherished and bring them comfort during this very difficult time. Walt was fortunate enough to have found love twice in life, the second marriage was to Barbara Bean Newby, and he was a loving and supportive step-father to Barbara's two children Pamela and Randy Pope. Walt was passionate about his work and even when retired would return to his place of work just to be around the trade he enjoyed so very much. The trade he was so passionate about was that of the Industry related field as a field service mechanic and worked throughout Wyoming and in the neighboring states. Throughout his life Walt enjoyed everything about being outdoors, whether it was taking a leisurely drive, hunting or riding motorcycles. Walt was a frequent and supporting member at multiple community sponsored events. According to Walt's wishes he will be cremated and his ashes scattered in the Texas area alongside other family members. The family will not be holding any funeral or memorial services. For those wishing to honor him and to do some good for the city he loved so much please feel free to make a donation to a local charity in memory of our beloved Walt. Condolences for the family may be left at bustardsfuneralhome.com.
