Walter Gaines

Walter (Lee) Gaines, 67, passed away on October 8, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming. He was born on July 5, 1950 in Greeley, Colorado. May 25, 1973 Walter married Lottie Watson in Greeley, Colorado. He was a Supervisor at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Walter enjoyed fishing, football and food. Most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren and being with his family. Walter served in the United States Army. Walter is survived by his wife, Lottie Gaines; son, Travis Gaines; son Keith Gaines; and daughter Alicia Gallagher all of Casper, Wyoming. He is also survived by his sister Nadeen Loveland of Cheyenne, Wyoming and brother, Gary Gaines of Cabot, Arkansas and several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Waneta Weibers of Greeley, Colorado; brother, Kenneth Gaines of Greeley, Colorado and several aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming with Pastor Dave Mondle officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Wyoming Army National Guard and the Natrona County United Veterans Council. .
