On March 9, 2015 Virginia J. Wing passed away at the age of 91. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 16, 1923 to Fred and Cecil Muntz. She was raised in Lincoln until age fourteen. Upon her dad?s transfer with the railroad, the family moved to Edgemont, South Dakota. It was in Edgemont, she met the love of her life, Everett Wing. They went together all through high school and were married on April 1, 1943. She leaves her children and grandchildren a 75 year love story legacy. Her life was filled with a tremendous love and loyalty to family. Virginia had two sisters, that she had an extremely close bond with throughout her life. Times shared provided countless memories and lots of laughter. Virginia was a wonderful homemaker and very talented in her hobbies which included painting, crocheting, and writing poetry. She was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother, which all, were the pride of her life. Her home was always warm, inviting, and she made everyone feel welcome and special. She will forever be known as Gina, Ma, or Gram. Her husband of 71 years preceded her in death on November 23, 2014 as well as both sisters. Their marriage produced four children: Sam, Jon(wife Joan), Beth(husband Jim), and Robin. They have six grandchildren (Mari Beth, Wendy, Brenda, Jim, Brian, and Morgan) and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly. She will be remembered for her grace, wisdom, kind spirit, and warm loving personality. Services and interment will be held this summer. She will be laid to rest at the same time, as her beloved Everett, in the Black Hills where the love story started.
