Virginia Prickett

Virginia Darlyne "Joy" Prickett 85 of Casper WY Went into the arms of Jesus on January 1, 2016 after a long illness. Darlyne was born to Charles Wesley and Daisy D. "Pace" Joy on July 11,1930, in Perryton Texas. At an early age the family moved to Bellingham Washington where Darlyne was raised on the family farm. In 1985 Darlyne moved to California and became a care giver to an elderly couple. When she returned to Casper in 1995 she continued as a care giver working through Interim Healthcare. Darlyne was known to many as a caring and generous person. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 6 brothers, one daughter and a granddaughter. She is survived by two daughters, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Boyd Avenue Baptist Church at 1100 on January 6, 2016 Officiating Pastor John Larramendy, of Alcova Community Church In lieu of flowers the family requests you make a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Central Wyoming Hospice or the charity of your choice.
