Virginia Farmer

Virginia passed away at Shepherd of the Valley Care on September 17, 2012. She was born to Oliver and Cordelia Sears in Bucyrus Missouri. While attending the University of Wyoming she met her husband Bernard (Bud) Farmer. They were married in McAllen, Texas where Bud was stationed in the military. They were married for 58 years. Bud and Virginia built their home in Mills, Wyoming where she resided over 60 years. During that time Virginia was a homemaker raising four children. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud Farmer, four brothers and one sister. She is survived by her children Keith (Connie) Farmer of Casper, Richard (Jean) Farmer of Flora Vista, NM, Jim (Aleta) Farmer of Casper, Suzanne (Dan) Besich of Aurora, CO, eight grandchildren and numerous great grand children. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Brenda Frelsi officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
