Vina Bower

Vina Vera Kaiser Bower was born November 2, 1915 in Stuart, NE to August and Sadie Kaiser. Vina married Ralph A. Bower on December 22, 1939 in Dakota City, NE. Vina and Ralph moved to Casper, WY in 1939 and was employed with Forgey Construction Company. In 1959 the couple purchased the Sloane Company Store at Alcova which they operated until 1978. While at Alcova both Vina and Ralph were very active members of the Alcova Baptist Church. When Ralph passed away, Vina moved to Casper and became active with the Highland Park Community Church until her death. She is survived by many wonderful friends and two sisters Inez Weller and Minnie Stevens grandchildren Dustin, William, Sheri and Linnea; great-grandchild, Deyssi, Myller, Lindaas, Samantha, Anjel, Xander and Elaina as well as many nieces and nephews. Vina was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph; son Ronnie Bower; and baby girl Sherry Lee Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Pastor Merrill Smith officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow services at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Vera's honor may be made to Meals on Wheels or Senior Advocates.
