Vicki Bailey

Vicki Lynn (Eckhart) Bailey, 58, passed away at Central Wyoming Hospice on Monday, January 6. She was born on September 18, 1955 to Floyd and Shirley Eckhart in Casper, Wyoming. Vicki lived the majority of her life in Casper, attending Lincoln Elementary in North Casper, Dean Morgan Junior High and Natrona County High School. Vicki married the love of her life, Marty Bailey, on October 17, 1986, and together they raised two daughters, Cricket and Treva. Vicki was a teacher's assistant for many years at Willard Elementary before devoting herself to help care for her two youngest grandchildren, Darian and Aubry. Several years later, Vicki went to work at Wyoming Senior Citizen's Inc. where she was employed until her death. Vicki enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and Blizzard (her dog), making crafts, cake decorating, camping, family events and traveling. She was exceptionally well-organized and a perfectionist, qualities which were apparent in everything she did. Vicki was preceded in death by her husband, Marty, and her father, Floyd. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Shirley and Henry Carsten of Shawnee, OK; sister, Doris Glasgow (Richard); brothers, Mickey Eckhart (Lee) and Lester Eckhart (Judy), all of Casper; daughters, Treva Hurst (Beau) of Casper and Cricket Morey of Comanche, TX; grandsons, Darian (Hurst) and Jeremy (McConnell) ; grand-daughter, Aubry (Hurst) and great-grandson, Alex (McConnell). A public memorial service to celebrate Vicki's life is at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 10, at Bustard's Funeral Home. Following the service, Vicki's family invites all who loved and cared for Vicki to attend a fellowship reception at 3:30 pm at the Mills Fire Hall, 401 Wasatch, in Mills, Wyoming.
