Velda Allison

Graveside services for Mrs. Velda Allison will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Chaplain Marvin Skogen officiating. Velda Pauline (Wunder) Allison, 98 years young, died peacefully December 25, 2011 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. Velda enjoyed archery and was State Women's Champion. She wrote two books about family and travels. She enjoyed Wednesday night conferences with family on the computer. Velda also enjoyed photography and oil painting. She was a member of the Thrifty Ann's Extension Club. Velda was a well known kindergarten teacher at Southridge and Westwood schools. She also taught exercises at the Senior Center for 25 years. She is survived by one sister, Ruby Bracken, children, Helen Moon, Jane Harris, Jim Allison and Gail Leslie (Jim). She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and sister Norma Regier. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the Central Wyoming Senior Services, Casper, Wyoming.
