Treva (Dennison, Dietz, McFee, Attaway) Smith was born August 25, 1958, and passed away at her home on February 7, 2024.
Treva was the youngest of 4. She was born to Ellis Mac Dennison and Edna Mae Humphreys in Kadoka, South Dakota.
As a child, her family moved around a lot following the oil patch booms in Texas, South Dakota, and Casper, Wyoming. Her father, nicknamed Red, played music with some big bands back then. He died when Treva was only 4 years old. Her family still traveled following the booms, where her stepdad worked for DalGarno Trucking. They traveled from the border of Canada to Mexico. Her mother, Edna, passed in 1985 in a car accident.
She graduated from Kelly Walsh High School. As an adult, she moved to Texas but eventually returned to Casper. Treva had a variety of jobs throughout her life. She worked at Albertson's, Wal-Mart, and also as a Texas corrections officer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Cindy Ann Dennison, Donald Mac Dennison, her daughter Danielle, and her husband Lee Smith.
She is survived by her brother, Michael (Susie) Dennison, children, Corisha (Shawn) Brown, Ricky (Mandy) McFee, Travis McFee, and her grandchildren, Baylee Brown, Peter Brown, Evan McFee, Zander McFee, Sophie McFee, Koden Doyle, Isaiah Williams, Jaison Tuma, Travis McFee II, and Marian McFee.
