Joel "Travis" Pepper, 42, of Casper, WY, passed away January 2, 2014 in Casper, WY. Travis was born December 7, 1971 in Salt Lake City, UT to William Ronald Pepper and V. ReNae Wright Pepper. On June 1, 1999 Travis married the love of his life; his sun, moon, and stars; Lisa Dawn Holdaway. Together Travis and Lisa made a beautiful home for their son Laven Harmelink. Travis worked hard, made friends easily and quickly gained the trust and respect of people. This proved to be of great value in his career as Sales Manager at White Mountain Motors. Anyone who knew Travis knew that within his tough guy exterior was a heart of gold. He would do anything within his power for friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, as well as complete strangers. Travis was known to stop and give a five dollar bill to anyone alongside of the road, however if they had a dog with them they got a little more money. Some people would describe him as a hard man or stubborn as a mule, which he no doubt was, but those who knew him knew he was a Pepper man through and through, and that is an honor few will ever top. Travis loved to hop on his motorcycle and take off into the great wide open. He also loved shooting his gun. Most of all he loved his family and his wife. Travis leaves a void in our lives that will never be filled, however his greeting committee in heaven includes his father; William Ronald Pepper, both maternal and paternal grandparents, and the wagging tails of our four legged baby boys; Maximus and Lucius, and the four legged princesses; Delsie and Roxie. Carrying forward his legacy are His Wife; Lisa Pepper, son; Laven Harmelink, Mother; ReNae Hedges and father; Don Hedges of Riverton, WY, Brothers Darrell, Todd of Riverton, WY, Danny of Glenrock, WY, Darwin of Casper, WY and Michael of Murry, UT as well as two sisters; Julie of Denver, CO, and Machelle of Crescent City, California. Memorial Services for Travis will be held at 4:00PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Walking With Christ Church. Memorial contributions in his honor to: PepperFamilyReliefFund@gofundme.com or at Wyo Central Credit Union would be appreciated by his family.
