Tony Joseph Hellman was born in Rock Springs WY on Aug 2, 1950. He grew up in Rawlins and entered the service going to Vietnam in 1969. Tony's life was filled with many occupations which he conquered nicely. He was a man of many trades and completed them all well until he found the love of his life Teaching. He went on the receive 2 Bachelors, and two Master's Degrees (One in Education and One in Administration). He had found his niche in life teaching Social Studies and History to many students. Through-out his 14 years of teaching he was a traveling teacher for many years involved in grades 7 -12. His last 4 years were spent with 7th and 8th grade students, his understanding of their nature came from heaven above. Each student had a special place in his heart to this day. The staff he was privileged to work with was outstanding, we both spent many hours with many co-staff members who became our family. He leaves behind his childhood sweetheart, whom he reconnected with in 1992; Janet Bee Hellman. There is no one who will ever stand in his shoes; because God only made one of him. There will be a memorial service in Rock Springs WY on Oct 10th at Young at Heart Senior Center from 1 -4. In lieu of flowers please donate for a scholarship fund to be created in Tony's name. They may be sent to 2925 Fleetwood Place, Casper WY 82604 in care of Janet Hellman. God Bless you all.
