Tommy Jones

October 7, 1954 — December 4, 2016

Born in Worland, WY on October 7, 1954, Tommy Lee Jones was the third child of Richard Lee Jones and Ruth Irene (Potter) Jones. The family moved to Cody and then to Casper where both parents had grown up. Tom was raised in a robust family with his brother Rick and three sisters. He was very close to his youngest sister, Terry. He was smart and funny and always has a way to make a person laugh. Tom worked hard all his life at a variety of jobs. He most enjoyed road construction and operating heavy machinery. Tom loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting with his dad and brother. After the death of his father, Tommy was a companion to his mother as they searched for arrowheads and fished favorite areas around Casper. Tommy will be missed very much by his daughter, Amber Wilson of Casper and grandchildren Caleb and Eva; sister Theresa McCarthy (Kevin) of Casper; sister Vickie Goodwin ( Sissy) of Douglas; brother Richard Lee Jones, JR (Joan) of Worland; sister Patricia Thompson (Vic) of Casper; and good friends Scotty Patterson and Gary Griffiths. His father and mother preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, Tommy asked that donations be made to Legal Aid of Wyoming, 159 N. Wolcott, #100, Casper, WY 82601 or Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S. Wilson, Casper, WY 82601.
