Timothy I Morton, son of Earl and Doris (Hirsch) Morton was born in Miller, SD on April 24, 1952 and suddenly departed this life on June 8th, 2013, at Casper, Wy at the age of 61. He was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist faith, attending Church and Sunday School with his family regularly. He received his education in Highmore, SD graduating with the Class of 1970. He was united in marriage to Shirley Buchheim in Highmore, SD on September 25, 1971. They were blessed with a son, Brian, on November 26, 1979, and a daughter, Beth, on September 17, 1982. He bought his first airplane in 1984 and received his pilot's license shortly after. He and .his family enjoyed many plane trips and created many memories, attending and meeting so many people at various fly-ins, where he and his family always participated in the various activities. Even with his nearly 25 years working at the North Antelope Rochelle Mine, he always found time to share so many fun and exciting experiences with this family, especially his grandchildren, Arvid, Kayla, Rylee, and Calyn, who he was nearly inseparable with. Some of their activities included going on airplane rides; taking them to breakfast before attending Sunday morning church services and Sunday school; running a 1 K race with Rylee and Calyn; his nightly emails to Kayla making sure they both brushed their teeth; teaching Arvid to drive the Massey and blade the road out at the land; and making jelly (from picking the fruit to sealing the jars), and the list goes on. Other hobbies he enjoyed were woodworking, flying remote airplanes, target shooting, bird hunting, and his paddle fishing trip to North Dakota. He also enjoyed doing projects such as, restoring a Massey 65 tractor; he bought and rebuilt several airplanes, one of them being the Rans S-7 (which he currently owns). . He always had time to hang out with family and friends, go on road trips, and share his flying experiences. Giving young eagle rides to many people that may not have ever had the opportunity to experience the joy of flying. Once he had a friend, he had a friend forever. He was always willing lend an ear or a helping hand to those that needed one. He lived life to the fullest and thoroughly enjoyed it. Those blessed to have shared his life, were his best friend and wife, Shirley; son) Brian, his wife Amanda, and their children, Arvid & Kayla; daughter, Beth and her children, Rylee and Calyn; Brothers - Larry, his wife Charlene and Randy; mother- in-law Alice and many other family members, and friends. Other family members eager to meet him in heaven are, his parents, Earl and Doris; brother, Donald; father-in-law, Harold; and daughter-in-law, Jennifer.
