Tom Miskimins, age 75, passed away on January 25, 2020, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 25, 1944 to Robert and Chattie (Sweaney) Miskimins in Torrington, WY. He was the 9th of ten children. He grew up around Torrington and Casper, graduating from Natrona County High School in 1962.
On June 1, 1962, he married the love of his life, Rae Ann Lamb, in Casper. They spent 57 happy years together.
He worked many various places before moving to Rae Ann’s family ranch in 1980. They worked on the ranch together until retiring from ranching in 2004. He enjoyed playing pool until he spent a winter in Arizona where he could golf and enjoy the warm weather.
Tom dearly loved his four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking and building various furniture items for his family, playing golf, spending time with Rae Ann and his family.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Lawrence and Ruth Lamb, and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife Rae Ann, two sons Tim (Kris) and Ted (Jenny), a grandson Lane Miskimins, three granddaughters Jade Slaymaker, Schpri Rozel, and Cassidy Miskimins, four great grandchildren- Madi, Elli and Sadie Slaymaker and Jaiden Schow, two brothers- Larry Miskimins and Bill Miskimins, and four sisters- Katie Gregory, Phyliss Black, Lois Patterson, and Jean Dalton. He is also survived by countless nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the VFW, 420 N. Elk Street in Casper, WY.
