Thomas Searles

Thomas Richard Searles, 56, passed away on March 30, 2014 at the Wyoming Medical Center,from a heart attack. Tom was born January 26, 1958 in Amhearst, Ohio, the only sonof Donald and Angie Searles. He was a 1976 graduate of Kelly Walsh High Schoolin Casper, Wyoming. He enjoyed playing Legion Baseball for Ranger Well Service. In 1977 Tom met and married his soul mate of 36 years Shellie Steepe. They had two children, Amber (Trevor) Hays and Trapper (Samantha) Searles; and they also raised Jeanette (Alan) Ferguson and Robert (Gus) Steepe. Tom enjoyed teaching his kids camping, hunting and trapping skills, which he learned from his dad and grandfather. He loved gardening, geocaching and to travel. He was a bricklayer by trade, and a talented fabricator welder and owner/operator of his own business. Tom was also a Christian and loved Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife; his children; and grandchildren, Cooper and Owen Hays and Jaiden Searles; his sisters, Brenda Lana and Lisa. Last but not least his little buddy, "Dashi" A Life Celebration will be held at Restoration Church, 411 Walsh Dr., Casper, Wyoming, Saturday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor David Limmer officiating.
