Thomas Ray Sandison passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 when he lost the battle with a very fast, aggressive cancer. He died peacefully at his home in Yuma, AZ surrounded by lots of love. Tom was born on April 9, 1941 in Casper, WY to Thomas L. and Jeanne M. Sandison. He graduated from Natrona County High School and Casper College. On July 15, 1961 he married his high school sweetheart, Janice (Judy) Scully. After 15 years with the Casper Fire Department, he bought and operated a farm/ranch in Estancia, NM for 25 years. He was known as one of the most honest farmers in the valley. Upon selling the farm, Tom and Judy purchased a motor home and had 10 wonderful years of fun and adventure. Tom is survived by his wife, Judy, his brother, Robert W. Sandison of Casper, WY, two fabulous sons, David Ray (Laura) of Albuquerque, NM, and Thomas M. of Lake Mary, FL. He loved all four grandchildren, Tyler (Laura A.) Sandison of Marble Falls, TX, Thomas A. Sandison of Oviedo, FL, James Ray Sandison of Austin, TX, and Izabella A. Sandison of Oviedo FL., also, several nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas L. and Jeanne M., and his brother James K. Sandison. Cremation will take place in Yuma, AZ, and a memorial service will be held in Casper, WY at a later date.
