Services for Thomas M. Roe will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Bob Roe officiating. Viewing will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 25, 2011 and 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Bustard's Funeral Home. Military rites will be accorded by the Natrona County United Veterans Council and the Wyoming Army National Guard. Interment will be at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Thomas Marshall Roe, age 88, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011. He proudly served our nation during WWII as a Boatswain's Mate First Class in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. South Dakota. Tom was a carpenter by trade and retired from the Natrona County School District in 1987. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Doris; sons, Thomas Jr. and Michael; daughter, Deborah; grandchildren, Carrie, Jason, Diana, Kristi, Robyn, Eric and Jared; and nine great-grandchildren. Tom (Bud) was preceded in death by his siblings, Mildred, Clarence (Cliddy), Bill, Gene, Aletha, Ethel, Art, Eunie (Noz), Ernie, Lola, Douglas (Hink), and Donald.
