Tom Richardson died in his home with his wife caring for him, on the morning of April 19, 2013 at age 63. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1972 with a Business Administration degree. Three years later on March 15, 1975 he married Justina Munkres, and for the next 38 years he was husband, father, and golfer, all the while working as a landman for Gulf Oil, Tyrex Oil, as an independent, and finally Anadarko Petroleum. Tom was a steady man like his great-grandfather Edward Richardson, a physician: outside of being an outstanding husband and father Tom received Planning Commissioner of the Year in 2011. However, Tom was also a playful man like his grandfather, Lester Richardson who liked to draw cartoons: he could be seen most any spring or summer evening on the golf course and one of his proudest moments was his hole-in-one at a tournament in 2012. Tom is survived by his wife, Justina Richardson, his sister, Freddie Foy, his step-son Randy Wesnitzer, and his grandchildren Alyssa and Garret. Memorial contributions to the Central Wyoming Hospice Home, the Rescue Mission,or the Tom Richardson Memorial Scholarship, through the Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen, would be appreciated by his family.
