Thomas Beecham

Thomas M. Beecham, 82, passed away on March 17, 2017 with his daughter by his side. Tom was born in 1934 in Palmyra, NE to Hubert and Grace Beecham and was one of eight children. Tom graduated from high school in 1951 and attended the University of Nebraska. Tom was a veteran, serving 2 years in the United States Army, with 18 months of that served in Germany. In 1965 Tom came to Casper. He married Bonnie Wiley in 1967. Tom spent his career as the finance manager at the Chevrolet dealership in Casper. He retired in 1996. Tom's grandchildren were the light of his life. They all loved to sit on "Gramps'" lap and listen to his tales. Tom loved to play golf with his good friend Bill Dorn. After Bill passed, he hung up his clubs. Tom was survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Liz and Lance Bradford of Denver, CO; and four grandchildren, Julie Kalmar of Salt Lake City, UT, Melanie Bradford of Casper, WY, Heather Facinelli of Arvada, CO and Justin Bradford of Northglenn, CO. He was also survived by four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was also survived by three sisters, Alice Genuchi, Mary Fleming and Eileen Smyth, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, in 2009, and daughter, Beverly Knapp, in 1987. Also preceded by both his parents; two brothers, Joe and Gene; and two sisters, Helen and Rita. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30AM Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Tom's urn will be placed at Memorial Gardens following the service.
