Thelma Frye

Thelma "Irene" Frye passed away peacefully October 11, 2011 at Central Wyoming Hospice. She was born February 26, 1922, in Casper, Wyoming to Raymond and Mary "Bedsaul" Phillips. She was a third generation Wyomingite. Irene attended school in Casper. Irene met and married Lee Hardee in 1942, and from that union Patricia Lee was born. They later divorced. She married Don Frye in 1945 and they went on to have three more girls, Carol Rich, Terry Walsh and Rita McMahan Irene was a waitress at some of the old hotels in Casper including The Henning Hotel and the Gladstone. She later worked at the gift shop at the airport for many years. Irene is survived by daughters Patricia, Carol and Terry (Alan) Walsh, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, daughter Rita and 3 grandsons. There are no services planned per her request.
