After a short illness, Tammy K. Campbell passed from this life to the next on June 22, 2019 at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions with her family by her side. Born to Dave and Gail Dunham on November 9, 1967, Tammy showed her caring nature early on by trying to help raise her brothers...with limited success! At the age of 7 the family moved to Olathe, Ks. and 2 years later relocated to Casper, Wyoming, where the family still reside. Tammy began her care-giving career by baby-sitting for the neighbors at the age of 9. Tammy graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1986. Shortly after graduation, the family moved for a time to Colorado Springs, Co. where her parents went to Nazarene Bible College. On March 29, 1990 Tammy accomplished one of her life-time goals and became a mother. Kayla Diane was the first of two daughters born to Tammy and her husband. In November of 1991, Tammy separated from her husband and followed her family back to Casper. Kaitlyn Elizabeth was born on June 18, 1992. From that point on, Tammy's primary focus was her girls. Whether it was birthday parties, church, camping, or school events; the girls came first. Obtaining a CNA license, Tammy worked for a number of years at Poplar Living Center. Later she worked for Nowcap , and Youth Crisis Center. It was a work- related injury that ended her career and put Tammy on disability. Still maintaining her caring nature, Tammy befriended most of the people she met. Encouraging those she could encourage and helping those she could help, this single mom who didn't have much gave what she could. Despite many requests from her daughters to quit, Tammy was unable to give up smoking. After a septic infection destroyed and attached itself to a heart valve, Tammy was placed in hospice where she received the greatest of care...without restrictions. Tammy was preceded in death by her brothers, Davy and Mark, paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her daughters Kayla and Kaitlyn, parents; Dave and Gail Dunham, family-by-choice, and numerous friends.
