Sylvia Kirby

August 12, 1939 — May 28, 2018

Sylvia P. Kirby passed away May 28, 2018 at Central Wyoming Hospice from complications of cancer. Sylvia was proud to have met and been hugged by Jerry Clower. The highlight of her life in 2017 was when she and friend, Kathy O'Brien, went to Washington, D.C. The pair traveled by bus, cab, shuttle, and Lyft. They walked to most all of the Smithsonian. They had a private tour through the Capitol, and a tour of the White House. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Jeannie Pugh; her husband, Don Kirby; and her daughter, Donna Gale Kirby. She is survived by her son, James Michael Riney; daughter, Susan Kathleen Hernandez; grandchildren, Kristen Rae Hernandez and Keelie Michaelle Person; and best friend and caregiver, Mary Kathleen "Kathy" O'Brien. A memorial service will be held at Bustard's Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 1, 2018, Fr. Gary Ruzicka officiating. A party will follow at Yellowstone Garage.
