Sunday Marlene Mead, 38, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2012. She was born on September 22, 1974 to Ray and Linda Mead of Casper, Wyoming. Sunday was a life-long Casper resident. She attended Casper schools and received her GED in Casper, Wyoming. She attended technical training to become a welder and a heavy equipment operator. Sunday married Scott Rayburn and gave birth to two amazing sons. Sunday and Scott later divorced. Sunday loved animals, she cared for many pets in her life and they gave her great pleasure. Sunday had a contagious laugh and loved to spend time with friends and family. Sunday was a beautiful daughter, sister, mother and grandmother in her lifetime. Her sons Dominic and Andrew and her grandchildren, Scott, Serenity, Scarlett and Ryatt were the light of her life. She is survived by her parents, Ray and Linda Mead; her sons, Dominic Rayburn and Andrew Rayburn; her sisters, LaRae Hedges and Christine Case; her grandchildren, Scott, Serenity, Scarlett, and Ryatt Rayburn, all of Casper; her grandmother, Gay Johnson, of Douglas; and numerous aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and extended family. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, December 2nd, 2012 at 3:00 P.M at Mountain View Baptist Church, 4250 Poison Spider Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations for Sunday can be made to Sunday's children, Dominic or Andrew Rayburn and sent to: 4282 Chalmers St., Casper, Wyoming 82604.
