Sue Ann Farmer, 83 of Casper, Wyoming passed away peacefully the morning of June 13, 2023, of natural causes. She was a cancer survivor.
She was born November 4, 1939 in Lucine, Oklahoma to Reford and Annie Mason. She was an only child. She graduated from Billings High School in 1957 and went on to attend one semester at Oklahoma State University. She married the love of her life Bill Farmer in 1959. This set in motion a life full of adventure and travel establishing friendship in many different states including Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona. They had three children, Leslie, Shauna, and Jason. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother (GG), and great great grandmother. She loved visiting with friends and especially enjoyed her life of playing bridge with her bridge family. She was a life master. She loved shopping or just getting in the car and going somewhere even if it was to drive her dog Ace around. She never met a stranger she didn’t like. She was a good listener and a good friend to all who knew her. She became a realtor. Owned her own clothing business and became a greeter at Western Medical Associates. She loved country music, dancing, playing the piano by ear and watching her favorite teams play football. She supported her family in every way and was the person we all wanted to be with. She will be loved and missed forever. She joins her parents, her late husband Bill and her grandson Josh in heaven.
Her memory lives on through her daughter Leslie (John) Pfiefer of Casper, daughter Shauna (Tim) Ligget of Arizona and son Jason (Carmen) Farmer of Illinois, her three grandsons Ryan (Cheree) Pfiefer of Casper, Aaron Pfiefer of Casper, Casey Allen of Washington, granddaughters Mattie Ligget of Arizona and Ainsley Farmer of Texas, great grand children Isaiah, Deseree, Chantel, Aubrey, Bailey, and great great grandchildren Kennley, Olivia, and Marcelino, Sister-in-law Lena Clark of Texas, nephews Kory Clark and family of Texas and Jay Clark and family of Texas, and numerous cousins including Pat Praytor and Ora Duke.
