Steven Clymore

January 22, 1947 — July 14, 2016

Steven was welcomed into the world to Joe and Marie Clymore in Springfield, Missouri on January 22, 1947. On October 28,1965 Steven enlisted into the Navy. During the four years Steve served our country he fought in Vietnam, chauffeured for the Admiral of his ship, and was also a store keeper on the ship. Steve received numerous medals during his time fighting for his country. After four years of devotion to the Navy Steve was honorably discharged as Petty Officer Third Class. June 20, 1970 Steven married his love Linda Godden. In their forty-six years of marriage God blessed them with two beautiful children and seven ornery grandchildren. In November 1976 Steven gave his heart to Christ. He grew into an amazing Christian husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In 1973 Steven started working in the Cleveland National Forest as a fire fighter for the next twenty-seven years. He retired from his position of Battalion Chief and came to Wyoming to be with his family. Over the next fifteen years Steven continued his love of his Christian walk at Lighthouse Baptist, being with his family and friends, and of course enjoying God's country. He is survived by his wife Linda J. Clymore, his two children Patrick H. Clymore, Erin M. Richardson, and seven grandchildren as well as his brother, Darrel W. Clymore.
