Steve Spencer DuBry was born on April 13, 1948 to Lyle (Dishman) DuBry. In 1949, during the bad winter, he drank kerosene and his mom ran barefoot several miles to the neighbors to get the doctor; who said "if he's made it this long, he'll live", and lived he did. He was a very tough, determined man who worked hard and believed a man was no better than his word, was a very loving husband and dad to all of his children. He was a very proud member of the "Operating Engineers" for 43 years. He also was a welder and a business owner. He is survived by his wife, T. Robin, whom he cherished for 20 years; also 7 children, 19 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend and ex-wife Carol. He was loved by many and probably disliked by a few. He believed strongly that a man's word is his bond. He has been preceded in death by his parents and 2 grandchildren and brother Bill. Funeral services for Steve will be held at 10:00am on Today, May 19, 2016 at Bustard's Funeral Home with Whalen Woodward and Royce Brown officiating. Interment will take place at Highland cemetery immediately following services.
