On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, Stephen Joe Plummer of Glenrock, Wyoming, a loving husband and dedicated father of four passed away at the age of 58 surrounded by family and friends. Steve was born September 14, 1960, to Douglas and Sandra Plummer in Casper, Wyoming. As a teenager, he worked with his dad building houses; he then worked at several coal mines for many years. He also owned Eastgate Service in Glenrock, Wyoming. He raised four children, a son, Brad Vodicka and three daughters, Bobbi Jo Plummer, Crystal (Plummer) Decoteau, and Alisha Vodicka. He loved to play the guitar, watch football, go hunting, and most of all, his family. Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nile and Mona Plummer, and Clifford and Edith Cuthbertson. Steve is survived by his loving wife Shelley Plummer, daughters Bobbi Plummer, Crystal Decoteau, Alisha Vodicka, son Brad Vodicka, seven grandchildren, his parents Douglas and Sandra Plummer, sister Rhonda Benson, brother Mike Plummer as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at 10:00 am at the Glenrock Middle School Auditorium. There will be a reception directly after the services at Deer Creek Hall. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Stephen Plummer Memorial Fund at Hilltop Bank. All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Foundation to help find a cure.
