A memorial service for Stephen Michael Scholtz, 61, will be held at First Restoration Church on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Steve died December 30th, 2012 in the comfort of his home. He was born October 13th, 1951, to Ernest P. Scholtz Jr. and Mary K. Moore. Steve attended St. Anthony's Catholic School and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1971. He was a man of faith, love, and God. He would give the shirt off his back to a stranger in need. He often greeted friends and peers with a humorous joke, lightening the mood and looking for smiles. He was a loving friend to anyone he came in contact with and took pride in remembering people's stories and names. In 1984 he married Susie Yeaman and went on to have three children. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He also enjoyed his daughter's three dogs, which he called his "grandkids". Steve was an accomplished sub-contractor as a professional tile and carpet installer. Throughout his life, he had a passion for fishing and boating, which he passed down to his three children. He enjoyed outdoor activities and traveling, especially to the Big Horns and Pathfinder Lake. He was a free spirit and enjoyed many concerts throughout his years. He was a master of many instruments but especially enjoyed playing guitar. Survivors include his Mother Mary K. Moore, his siblings Ernest Scholtz III, Robert Scholtz, Jerome Scholtz, Mary McComas, Mia Stewart and his three children Emilee, Heather, and Christopher.
