LeAnn's Obituary for Spencer Spencer Wade Thompson, 24, passed away on June 13, 2018 in Fort Collins, Colorado from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on July 24, 1993 in Casper, Wyoming to LeAnn Yvette (Baxter) and Michael Alvin Thompson. Spencer graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 2011. Spencer worked as a righand in the oil fields of Montana and North Dakota. He'd worked for Liquid Gold Well Services and most recently TD Well Services. Spencer loved nature, the mountains, and camping in the great outdoors. He loved that his line of work allowed him to explore places like Glacier National Park. He loved his motorcycle and the freedom riding his motorcycle gave him. He also loved music, concerts, and being a DJ. His music and friends were his life. Spencer had a beautiful soul and his loss will have a profound effect on everyone who knew him. Spencer was generous and caring and touched many lives. Spencer is survived by his mother, LeAnn Yvette Thompson, of Casper; father, Michael Alvin Thompson, of Laramie; sister, Hannah Leigh (Ty Harris) Thompson, of Casper; maternal grandfather, John Shore of Casper; paternal grandparents, Garth and Theresa Thompson; great grandparents, John C. Dutton, Walt and Twila Soest, and Mary Vigil; and aunts, Missy (Rob) Norton, Cassie (Kris) Fasching, Angela (Brian) Beck, and Cassie (Bill) Bershinsky. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, and many, many friends that were very important to him. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Shore, and grandfather, Steven Baxter. A Celebration of Spencer's Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Bustard's Funeral Home, Pastor Mike Struck presiding. Inurnment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
