Shirley Mae (Terry) Watson, 84, of Mills, WY passed away on March 17, 2013 following a lengthy illness. She was born February 8, 1929 in Kemmerer, WY; daughter of Cleo A. and Anna M. (Erickson) Terry. She was raised in southwest Wyoming. She graduated from Green River High School in 1946 and started nurses training that fall. She married James Patrick Watson in 1948. They spent time in Bridger Valley and raised a family of seven children. What a challenge!! They moved to the Casper area in 1991 and made their home in Mills. She lost her husband in September 1995. Shirley loved to crochet and won numerous awards and ribbons for her doilies at the Central Wyoming Fair including Grand Champion more than once. She loved spending time with her family and friends, scenic drives, outings at Alcova Lake, hunting, yard sales and making bread for family and friends. She enjoyed watching ice skating, game shows and movies on TV. She kept in touch with her family and friends using her cell phone to call and text. She had a wonderful personality, a great sense of humor and loved a good prank. She was a very special lady, and we will all miss her terribly. She touched many lives in a very loving way. Shirley is survived by six children: Terry (Ada) Watson, Ft. Bridger, WY; Gary (Ellarae) Watson, Grandby, CO; Wendy (Gary) Conder, Lyman, WY; Patricia (Jim) Ellifritz, Rock Springs, WY; John (Penny) Watson, Lyman, WY; Kevin (Melody) Watson, Mills, WY; son-in-law Dan Moran, Mills, WY; one sister, Cleo Ann Glasspoole, Casper, WY. She has 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat Watson; daughter, Loni Moran and granddaughter, Kevina Davis; sister, Karen Terry; and two brothers, Charles and Ron Terry. Interment and graveside services in Fort Bridger, WY will be scheduled at a later date.
