Sherry Lee Schwindt

Beloved mother, sister, Aunt and friend passed away in her home in Casper, WY. on July 10, 2016. A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 17th at the North Casper Clubhouse. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Bayard, NE.

Sherry was born in Scottsbluff, NE on January 14, 1952 to Jimmie and Charlotte (Nuss) Schwindt. She attended school in Bayard and Westminster, CO. She graduated from high school in SIMI Valley, CA in 1970. She moved to Craig in 1979 and worked for Safeway, and Holiday Inn, and the High school as a baker where her cinnamon rolls and cookies were famous.

She moved to  Casper in 2009 to be near her sister. There she cleaned houses and pet sat and dearly loved all those she worked for.

Sherry is survived by her son, Landon Schwindt. Brother, Keith Schwindt (Carmel.) Sister, Wendy Westby (Mark.) Nephews, Sean, Jimmy, and Brian Gupton, Dustin Schwindt, and niece, Brooksann Deboi. Also 7 great nieces and 3 great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Candace Mumbower.
