It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shawn William Stanley, who left us on November 30, 2023. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an exceptional friend.
Born on January 14, 1971, in Littleton, Colorado, Shawn was the only child of Richard and Janice. He spent 20 years working as a heavy equipment operator and was respected for his hard work, dedication, and expertise.
Shawn was blessed with two children, Savannah, and Bethany, whom he loved and adored. He met the love of his life, Kelly, and they were married on March 11, 2011, and were able to renew their vows on their 10th wedding anniversary. Although Shawn and Kelly never had any children together, they shared a love for their dog Bella. They would take her for walks and rides in the car while listening to the seatbelt alarm going off with her riding shotgun. Shawn was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
Shawn had a love for music and fast cars and enjoyed playing his guitar and watching drag racing in his free time. He was known for his kind heart, his expert guitar playing and his incredible artwork.
He is survived by his wife Kelly Flynn-Stanley, his children Savannah Stanley and Bethany Marchisio, his two grandchildren, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Shawn was proceeded in death by his parents Richard Stanley and Janice Grimson and his Aunt Nancy and Uncle Edward Mahalick.
A celebration of life will be held on December 10, 2023, at Strong Tower Church, 730 E 21st Street, in Casper, Wyoming at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kelly Flynn-Stanley to help with final costs. Shawn will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
