Sharron Pressler

Sharron L. Pressler passed away on June 14, 2017. She was born July 9, 1939 to C. R. Babcock and Dorris E (Gehrett) Allen in Casper, Wyoming. Sharron graduated in 1957 from NCHS and Parks Business School in Denver, Colorado She married James (Jim) Ross Jr. June 2, 1962 in Casper, Wyoming. He passed away on June 2, 1965. She married Jerd (Al) A. Pressler December 2, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He passed away December 2, 1969. Their son, John A. Pressler was born November 14, 1968 in Casper, Wyoming. He passed away on September 2, 1985. Companion, Thomas (Tom) Lee Chapman passed away January 9, 2011. She was employed by Mountain Bell, Lou Talberts, Brotherhood of Teamsters, retiring in 1996 from U.S. West. She also was a member of the Eagles #106, VFW # 991 and the Telephone Pioneers. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Malcom and Frances Gehrett, her parents Richard and Dorris E. Allen, brothers, Henry Allen; and Richard Babcock; sister-in-laws Elaine (Pearl) Babcock and Virginia (Ginny) Babcock; and niece Diane Allen Wall. She is survived by niece Leanna (Mike) Babcock of Denver, Colorado, best friends Janice Johnson of Casper, Wyoming and Diana and Duncan Hevener of Casper, Wyoming, Ron and Diane Chapman of Charlevoix, Michigan and the Chapman family, and Susan Babcock Murray of Redding, California and niece, Lisa Allen. A Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM, June 27, 2017 at Highland Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to dianddunc@gmail.com .
