Sharon Recknor

April 2, 1962 — January 11, 2013

Sharon Lee (Bales) Recknor passed away January 11, 2013 at age 50. She was born in Casper, WY to Tom and Charlene Bales on April 2, 1962. From the day she was born she was funny, witty, strong willed, hardworking, and spontaneous. Some of her hobbies were gambling, collecting money, partying, and making people laugh. She was a gypsy at heart until she finally settled in Casper, where she hunted down the love her life Mitch Recknor. They married and raised two beautiful children Boo (Tabitha) and Jeremy. She was never boring or calm. No one knew what was on her mind or where she'd be in ten minutes. She believed in family, respect, living each day to the fullest, and that if you kiss boys your lips would fall off (and no one looks good without their lips). She loved her ginormous family and is survived by them: Mitch & Jeremy Recknor, Tabitha McBeath (Brandon), Tim Bales (Stephanie), Tammy Ellis (Bobby), Shelly Fry(Joe), Glenna Martin, Debbi Roberts, Merrill Jolley, Tommy & Greg Guffey, and her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by: Bobby Lee Ellis, David Guffey, her Grandparents, and James Bales. Here's to you our beloved Sharon "We're here for a good time not a long time. So have a good time the sun can't shine every day." -Trooper. Services will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Viewing will be held at Bustard's Funeral Home Wednesday from 6-8 PM.
