Shanda Eads, age 41, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 27th At the Wyoming Medical Center. She was born on November 28th, 1974 in Casper Wyoming. She was the youngest of three children. The daughter of Mary Eads of Casper, and Darrel Eads, also from Casper. Mother of Dakoda Eads and Ashlynn Eads. Shanda was a very caring, loving and gentle woman who enjoyed almost every aspect of life. She would always do anything in her power to help others in any way possible. No matter what situation she was in, she would always do her best to do right. One of her careers, involved working in the medical field. At the time, this is the best way she found to care for others. Her caring heart then brought her to an even better way to help other people. It all began at Willard Elementary School, where she was introduced to being a teachers assistant. She started working with special needs kids, and very quickly realized that she wanted no other career but the one she was in. She worked at three different schools with almost the same job title. After Willard, she moved out to Poison Spider Middle School, then to Cottonwood Elementary School. She brought life and joy into every single one of the kids she taught. Yet she always replied the message that those kids brought life into her also. She loved being around her family. Whether it was at a holiday family dinner, or a movie night with her kids. She was into many different types of music from Lady Antebellum to Rob Thomas and Chris Daughtry. Along with her caring, and gentle heart, came Shanda's one-of-a-kind stubbornness. She would never take NO for an answer. If there was a statement made that she disagreed with, she would go to hers wits end to argue her point on it. Though this stubbornness was sometimes frustrating, it is also what drove her to fight for her life for 3 1/2 years. Shanda was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2013, which eventually led to brain cancer. Though this sickness was the toughest thing she had ever dealt with in her life. It never once stopped her from being the Shanda we all know. Because she was so iron willed, she never once stopped being stubborn through this tough time she was fighting. Which is something I think all of us will remember and miss the most about her. Her beautiful smile and kind heart will never be forgetten. She brought so much happiness into everyone's life that she ever met. You will forever be in everyone's hearts. Your memories you shared with us,will never fade. Shanda's services will be held on Thursday ,November 3rd at 2:00PM at Bustard's Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
