Searcy Johnson

Searcy Evon Johnson III, 40, of Des Moines, WA, passed away on April 5, 2016 in Casper. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Restoration Church in Casper. Searcy was born on September 6, 1975 to Mary Bennett in Independence, KS. He enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Teara Johnson of Des Moines, WA, Tayja and Tyshaun Johnson both of Portland, OR; a son, DaJour Lucas of St. Joseph, MO; his mother, Mary Bennett of Casper; sister, Maurisha (Brent) Brown; dad, Maurice Brown of Levenworth, KS; nephew, Marquay Brown; nieces, Maliyah Greenidge and Brynn Greenidge; fiancé, Brooke Burgi and the mother of his children, Cortney Hett and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and adopted family. Searcy is preceded in death by his grandparents; Aunt Linda Bennett of Topeka, KS and Uncle Stevie Johnson. A fund has been set up at Hilltop National Bank to help with funeral expenses.
